Also, a wide variety of freshly baked pastries Pavlova, Cannoli, Maritozzo Bun, strawberry croissant, Biscoff strudel, and etc. If you like some savoury before your dessert, they have spaghetti menu too.

The popular dish at Mat Periuk Cafe is Nasi Goreng Atok; translated as Grandfather fried rice. It is a little bit spicy, recommend to only ardent fans of hot and spicy food.

Be sure to visit the cafe early like around 6p.m as the place can be quite full during the normal dinner hours. The ambience is nice and pleasant here. In the evening, there will be a band busking. A very hipster kind of place with good food.

Besides must try Nasi Goreng Atok, other must try are Grilled Chicken Chop, Spaghetti Carbonara (comes with big prawns) and Mini Pavlova.

Konda Kandi Cafe is strategically located in the city center, it is near to Ipoh Parade.

The hispter interior design will grab your attention when you pass this area, the place is always packed around dusk, so it is not hard to missed this place.

However, one of the down side of this location is that, parking is not easy to find. We would advise to park your car at Ipoh Parade, and walk over to the cafe.

The short ribs is one of the popular menu in Konda Kandi Cafe. It is well marinated, soft and amazingly tender. Every bite was succulent and delicious.

This cafe is always pack with customers. So, be sure to come early. We highly recommend this place as the price is fair and the food is up to standard.

It felt like going back to grandparent’s home in the kampung, decorated with old 80’s rustic interior design. Such a nice & cozy place to lepak with family & friends.

The signature dish here is the Chicken Rice, Mee Goreng, Nasi Butter Milk Chicken. They have western dishes as well, but we feel that the local cuisine here is better.

Nasi Milk Butter Chicken is a must try. Deep Fried Chicken with Butter Sauce, just melt in your mouth. It is rich, creamy and full of flavor. It is just simply delicious.

We recommend Thumbs Cafe only to people who wants to eat; chill and just want to hang out in a nice ambient. The food serving size is generous and reasonably prized but the waiting time can be torturous when the cafe is busy.
